ACC

Stands for acceleration and describes the initial 10 to 20 meter of a sprint.

 

Adenosine DiPhosphate (ADP)
A “lower” form of ATP. ADP cannot immediately be used for muscle contraction, however can be transformed to get “new” ATP, which is then used for muscle contraction.

 

Adenosine TriPhosphate (ATP)
A phosphate that enables muscle contraction.
