Interestingly, the majority (14 from 17) Bundesliga clubs made a profit (and the whole league $71 mio), while the Premier made a loss of $317 mio over the same period, despite a revenue of $3.6 bn. The mayor contributor for the Premier League are the broadcasting contracts which bring in $1.3 billion in revenue, while the Bundesliga only generates $519 million.
